In addition, the revolutionary hollow point bullet design promotes a rapid mushroom expansion to a controlled diameter, over 1.5 times bullet diameter, while penetrating deeply and retaining virtually 100% of its original weight.
Golden Saber Bonded™ is the ultimate extension of the Golden Saber™ HPJ bullet concept providing unequaled barrier performance. Using an exculsive Remington® process, the lead core is hot-bonded to the brass jacket. The result yields exceptional weight retention, up to 97% when fired through automobile glass, while maintaining exceptional terminal performance. In addition, the bonding process retains jacket and core concentricity with resulting gyroscopic balance to deliver match-grade accuracy.
The unique design and bonding process produces a bullet that requires less enery to initiate expansion. At the same time, the jacket stiffness and wall thickness is designed to eliminate over-expansion and maximize penetration.
