Bushmaster A3 Rifle

Bushmaster carbines and rifles are in use by agencies and departments throughout the US. As the largest commercial producer of AR15 type arms in the United States, Bushmaster is proud to have become "The Choice of Law Enforcement Professionals and Government Agencies".

The Bushmaster A3 Rifle is designed for situations requiring a rugged firearm with high firepower. It features a 20" barrel with a 1 in 9" twist barrel that is chrome lined for maximum longevity and accuracy, as well as ease of maintenance. The barrel also features a mil. spec. manganese phosphate outer coating to insure complete protection against corrosion or rust. Also, a "birdcage" style flash suppressor/compensator is incorporated featuring a closed bottom to eliminate a dust signature when firing from the prone position. The light weight, 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum receivers are finished in a non-reflective mil. spec. hard anodize for durability, and incorporate all M16A2 design improvements including last round bolt hold-open and raised ridges for magazine release button protection. The upper receiver features a forward assist device and a cartridge case deflector. The Bushmaster Rifle operates in semi-automatic mode and accepts all capacity AR15/M16 type magazines.

The A3 Model differs in that it's Upper Receiver is a "flat-top" style with an integral Picatinny rail to offer a variety of sight, scope or night vision equipment mounting options. A 1/2 M.o.A. M16A2 style rear sight is incorporated into the Removable Carrying Handle. The rifle is available either with or without the removable carry handle.

The A3 Rifle is shipped with a 30 round magazine, instruction manual and carrying sling, all in a hard plastic shipping case.
