Bushmaster Patrolman's A3 Carbine

The A3 Model differs in that it's Upper Receiver is a "flat-top" style with an integral Picatinny rail to offer a variety of sight, scope or night vision equipment mounting options. A 1/2 M.o.A. M16A2 style rear sight is incorporated into the Removable Carrying Handle. The carbine is available either with or without the removable carry handle.

The Bushmaster XM15 E2S Patrolman's Carbine is designed for situations requiring a lightweight, rugged firearm with high firepower. Created with the Law Enforcement Officer in mind, it includes all the features of an M4A3 Type Carbine with a 16" M4 profile barrel to make it legal for sale to individual officers. The 1 in 9" twist barrel is chrome lined for maximum longevity and accuracy, as well as ease of maintenance. The barrel also features a mil. spec. manganese phosphate outer coating to insure complete protection against corrosion or rust. Also, the barrel “step-down” allows the user to mount an M203 Grenade Launcher. A "birdcage" style flash suppressor/compensator is incorporated featuring a closed bottom to eliminate a dust signature when firing from the prone position. A four-position, telescoping buttstock offers light weight and ease of carrying. The light weight, forged, 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum receivers are finished in a non-reflective mil. spec. hard anodize for durability, and incorporate all M16A2 design improvements including cartridge case deflector, last round bolt hold-open and raised ridges for magazine release button protection. The Bushmaster Patrolman's Carbine operates in semi-automatic mode and will accept all capacity AR15/M16 type magazines.

The A3 Model Carbine is shipped with a 30 round magazine, instruction manual and carrying sling, all in a hard plastic shipping case.
