The American-made Model 870 has evolved to keep pace with the ever changing needs of law enforcement.

Featuring traditional walnut stocks, the Model 870 leads the field in safety and performance features. A uniquely designed action with balanced sear, plus inertia firing pin, prevents discharge unless the action is completely closed and the triggter is squeezed and released after each shot. The large side-ejection port stays unobstructed when shooting over and around barriers. A blaze orange magazine follower permits quick, safe, and sure inspection of the chamber and magazine. A positive cross-bolt safety is conveniently located near the trigger for quick access, even while wearing gloves.

Choose from blued or parkerized finishes. Magazine extensions are available for added firepower. The Model 870 is available with either bead or rifle sights. Sling swivel studs are standard on all 870s.

Please note that in order to assure uniform pattern control and pellet accountability, all 18 and 20 inch law enforcement shotguns and extra barrels are produced with improved cylinder chokes unless specifically ordered.
